After completing teaching qualifications and a Diploma of Fine Arts with majors in Painting and Print Making, Ron Smith spent 15 years teaching Art in the public school system.

For the past twenty years he has consulted to Government, Local Government, the private and health sector at a senior level on communication strategies and community awareness programs.

He is responsible for developing themes and the publicity strategy for the site.

With several successful books to his credit, including Frederick McCubbin 1855-1917 'The Proff' and his art, and Walter Withers The Forgotten Manuscripts, Andrew Mackenzie is well known for his incisive, informative and personal style of curating which draws on over thirty years involvement in Australian art.
