Elizabeth Parsons shows her considerable ability to handle the watercolour medium, in the production of this work. From the still waters in the foreground to the darker shadows on the water in the centre, depicting where the rain is falling, and further to the city of Hobart under dark cloud, here is a work of great strength and vitality.
